‘Country Fair Winds’ daylily is a breath of fresh air. A late season bloomer with light peachy pink tones, this is the perfect bloom to balance out the heat of summer. Big 6″ blooms grow on scapes around 25″ tall in our East Tennessee garden. A nice light fragrance rounds out this already fantastic daylily. Perfection!
As a late season daylily, we begin to see the cooling, peachy perfect blooms of Country Fair Winds near the end of June. If you are to our north, you’ll see it a few weeks after we do. If you live to our south, you’ll see it a couple of weeks before us.
Country Fair Winds is a dormant daylily. This means it is best grown in gardens that receive a sustained winter cold period, like those in planting zones 8 and lower.
We think this beauty looks sensational when paired with virtually anything in the garden. We like to plant it with soothing lavender, juicy apricot and baby pink to balance out the riotous bright tones of the garden.
